The agreement, in plain words.

These terms are an agreement between you and Elemental Genius LLC for the use of Prodigee, the application at app.getprodigee.com, and this website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

Only an adult who is the parent or legal guardian of a child may create an account. By adding a child you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you consent, on the child’s behalf, to the collection and use of information described in the privacy policy.

Children use Prodigee only through a parent’s account and only after the parent starts a session for them. A child may not create an account, and you agree not to help a child do so.

The School Planet is provided free of charge. It is an educational aid, not a substitute for school, a diagnosis, or professional advice about a child’s learning or health. Characters are animated software, not people, and their replies are generated by an AI model and checked automatically; they can be wrong.

We may change, add to, or remove features, and we may suspend or end the service. We will give reasonable notice where we can.

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give accurate information about yourself and your children.
• Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

You agree not to:

• use Prodigee for any purpose other than a child’s learning under your supervision;
• attempt to make a character act outside its role, produce harmful content, or reveal system details;
• probe, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service;
• copy, sell, or redistribute the characters, art, text, or other content of Prodigee.

Prodigee, its characters, their names, likenesses, voices, personalities, art, and the text and software of the service belong to Elemental Genius LLC or its licensors. Classic stories and other public-domain works presented in the school remain in the public domain. You may use Prodigee for your family’s personal, non-commercial use and for nothing else without our written permission.

Prodigee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to a particular child, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Elemental Genius LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use Prodigee. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or endangers a child or the service. Sections 6 through 10 survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Elemental Genius LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state unless the law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
